The problem is we are picking teams to counter the opposition,
which on occasion will work however more often than not leads to
being 2nd best. We need to choose our style and play it, impose
our will on the game.
The current top teams SA, NZ, Ire, Fra all play their own style
no matter who they face players swap in and out but the style
remains.
We chop and change which can only lead to confusion.

Not Marcus’ best game today, who has had a bit of a mare,
certainly with the boot.

We won . Didn’t expect that but good performance today with
replacements making an impact for a change. Is this the turning
point we’ve been waiting for.

Good win that. Very sloppy from france.
Delighted for Baxter.
Bad day at the office for Marcus. His detractors will have a
field day and suspect F Smith will now be given a run at 10.
Then the pundits and supporters will turn on him too
George made a big difference and the whole pack stepped up
massively in the second half. That was the real difference, as
well as finn smith played

Very funny and very weird game. France should've been 20 points
up at half time.
Fin had a shocker of a first half and a superb second half.
Marcus had a mixed first half and a worse second half, and he
should not be starting at 15. Fin deserves a run at 10 for being
able to turn it around in a game where everything is going
wrong, and that's excellent for England as he's a fine, fine
player.
Cannot overstate how bad we were in the first half and how
inexplicable France's mistakes were. Bonkers game. Very, very
funny.
