Yes, completely agree. That second situation was really
difficult. The ball wouldn't sit for him and he was closed down
so quickly. Ireland did a great job of putting the England back
3 under pressure with their kicks in the second half.
I hope Cadan recovers quickly and is able to get his second cap
in this 6 Nations. He did a lot that he should be hugely proud
of. He is one of the nicest players who always engages with the
fans so well after games. I only wish good things for him!

they play it out but to be fair, they gave the same amount of
attention to Mitchell missing the tackle on Lowe. I love hearing
ex-players criticise current players, as I remember watching
them screw up on regular occasions. Seeing Austin Healey turned
over in his own 22 was a regular joy when he tried to be clever
and I doubt Ben Kay ever caught a ball outside of a lineout

I think nearly everyone here can remember at least one very
infamous dropped catch of Mr Kay's that was pretty important in
the context of the game at the time...

I Try, 1 Assist, 1 Try saving tackle versus a wind affected
missed catch and 1 brain fart in goal.
I think we can cut him some slack.

We can, but not everyone outside CAW is inclined to. Though some
of them repeatedly claim that Freddie Steward does not have
defensive issues, so who are we to argue? They are clearly
       living in an alternative reality

Two missed catches, an inexplicable and inexcusable brain fart,
a bad missed tackle, a badly sliced clearing kick, and not going
for a high ball at all when it was his.
I'm all for seeing the good that players do but this was a
disaster even with the 3 good moments.

This aged well, Quinky........still, I was 100% with you when he
was named in the match day squad.

Probably the most valuable 5 minutes he's ever played.

That and the try against wales in Cardiff. He only has 70 more
minutes to find in the rest of his career to make up one
       complete performance.

Even then it'll be cancelled out by the 2nd minute red card.
