Yes - fantastic news !!!![emoji1] Ellie deservedly POTM..... 2
       superb tries, great in defence.
I was worried in the first 60 minutes, but the sub's coming on
Pena's opportunity try & Ellie's magic clinched it.
       Now MUST try for a home semi-final [emoji3] !

She has shown more than once this season that if the team can
stay in contention and Quins need something at the death, she
will find a way to provide it.
Into a break for Quins now, with the security of knowing that a
playoff place is assured. Fingers crossed that the additional
time lets a couple more players get back to fitness.

Let's hope that no-one (especially Saracens) come lurking around
with a fat cheque book to try & tempt Ellie away from Quins !

Considering the quality of fullbacks around the league - Breach
at Sarries, Dow at Ealing, Sing at Gloucester etc - I am not
sure that many teams have the need (or cap space - the women's
salary cap is something like £0.5m) to poach her away.
That said, we're still learning about how women's squads develop
each season. Last year's changes at Quins looked drastic but
have proven to be smart bits of business in most cases, but I am
not sure how much change there will be this season. A lot of
overseas players are in the UK for RWC2025 and may leave
afterwards for domestic leagues - but I would hope the English
(and Welsh and Scottish) players will stick around.

Exeter game. Great stuff ! Well worth a 5 minute watch !

Well worth at least a 40 minute watch - after a cagey first half
it all kicked off in the second, especially at the end when
Exeter got under Ellie Kildunne's skin and she responded in the
way that got her World Player of the Year.
Don't make her angry, you wouldn't like her when she's angry
       (though we doi).
A really gritty performance from the rest of the team, despite
missing a lot of key players through injury. A fortnight's rest
til the next game, so we can hope that we start to get some
players back - though given Quins' away record this season (ALL
our losses have been at home) and a secured play off place, Ross
will probably prioritise having as many players as possible fit
for the semi final rather than rushing people back.

@SunburyQuin - Would it be possible to give an updated table
that tells us what the possibility is of a home semi final?
