Women's Premiership - Final run-in and predicted tables

It is looking very tough for Quins women. We have 3 very tough
matches left, whilst the majority of the other Top 5 have, with
a few exception-games an easier run-in than us.
I have taken a very conservative view as you can see.... we
basically need a win and few bonus points to qualify :

Compared to the few previous seasons, this year has been a
breath of fresh air. Some good signings (few questionable ones
in the past few seasons imo). Pena has been a revelation. We
look like a team with a game plan and we do the basics well.
My worry is injuries derailing the end of the season. Whyte,
Lochner, Bonar, Konkel and Callendar would be a loss to any
side.
We have had a great run but these last 4 were always going to be
the games that would decide our fate. We had our "easier" run
during the middle of the season, others now getting theirs and
we need pull out a result or two.
Some good signings over the summer and next season could be very
good (plenty to play for this season I know, but even if we do
miss the POs, the progress and development has been what we
needed).
One gripe i do have re our signings....Compton, Torley,
Resigning Cowell all seems a bit pointless as they never play
due to 7s commitments (Shilaker also away now, hope she gets a
chance to come back as she is an 15s international in waiting
imo).

Sorry all - I received a very helpful e-mail from ADMIN who is
going to help put this spreadsheet right for me, SQ.

I'm with honkytonk on this - Quins are massively improved this
season, but we're a bit short on depth, particularly in power
carrying and playmaking. Quins are down 4 big carriers, one of
the league's best jackallers and on Saturday we were missing
Lagi Tuima, who has clearly been below her best the last couple
of games but still hugely influential distributing in midfield -
her decision making under pressure has been very important this
season.
Given the quality of the opposition and the impact of injuries,
I would still say it's been a good season if Quins don't make
the playoffs. It was a season with a tough start (Exeter and
Hartpury during the PWR period) and a tough finish, and the
injuries have come at just the wrong time.

We should have beaten Exeter at home early in the season (but
for a last minute scrum penalty). Sale did us an unexpected
favour yesterday by recording their first win v Exeter. But,
that is factored into my spreadsheet (which hopefully ADMIN can
fix and re-post for me) above.

Never forget, SQ, that we should have enough to see that lot
off!

Well, editting that table format was a real pig. Fortunately
there's a number of programs on the internet will produce tables
in BB format (Bulletin Board).
I wouldn't advise trying unless you know what you're doing.

For anyone interested, there is an article on Rugby Pass titled
"Quins Cottages". All a about the Quins players living together
in homes provided by the club. Interesting read.
