Sorry but what's been proven? That Ford's not in contention for
selection? Seems weird to take him into camp then and give him
an enhanced contract.

That he's not at the level of the other two and hasn't been
pushing for selection.
He's the 3rd best fly half in the country and hugely experienced
so nobody expected him to be cut loose entirely.

Sorry I really wasn't trying to make this about George or even a
disagreement. My original comment was that there are 3 10s in
the squad.
However, have I got this right? Are you suggesting that not
being part of this particular 23 is (in and of itself) evidence
that George is not as good as the Smiths?
