away and why we can only raise our game against the big sides
but look like on any day we could easily lose to a village 5th
team. I

That was difficult. Worcester were terrific in defence and we
weren't getting it wide quickly enough to try to turn them.
Arrrrrgghhhhh!!!!!!
Kicking (not always easy) was not good. 9 points squandered.
I know the explanation (from Monye) was that Mills scored with
his torso. I didn't think that was allowed. I always thought it
had to be hands. Hmmmmmmm.
Well, a few things to 'tweak' before we face the Chiefs!
Marchant was a plus throughout. Lang looked a bit more in
control than Smith (who I love). Chisholm had a few good moments
and Saili tried to do a few things differently.
Sigh. Huge, huge gutted sigh!

Tapui seemed predictable and nullified. Wuss defence was very
strong but we didn't cause them enough problems.

Well we were poor but yet again still manage to come away with a
point so I guess that is a positive

Law 21.1
The ball can be grounded in in-goal:
a. By holding it and touching the ground with it; or
b. By pressing down on it with a hand or hands, arm or arms, or
the front of the player's body from waist to neck.

Yep that was the explanation given on BT Sport after the game
and the replay showed that Mills grounded the ball with his hip
so by the law no try. However it was given to irrelevant now.

Even Mills said that he thought he had not scored but happy to
take the points nonetheless.

So - when I said was really concerned that Smith was not ready
and not the answer I got roundly told I was wrong.
Anyone changed their minds?
Don’t want him on the pitch.
