He wasn’t in the squad so that could have been tricky.

Another really poor performance but another picked up bonus
point which could prove crucial at the end of the season one way
       or another

Nope, haven't changed my mind. Although I'm not sure I told you
that you were wrong... I think I may have pointed out that he
was voted player of the season by his peers.
I don't quite get what you want though, and I don't understand
by what criteria you're judging him, and I'm curious to know if
you're judging other players in a similar way.
My simple view is that Quins aren't very good but I don't think
MS is any significant part of that.

Poor again tonight, Wuss shut us down far too easily. Too
static, too slow, too flat. Smith's kicking is a big concern.
The referring team even more of a concern, how the hell was that
       a try!

Yeah, looked great first half. 2nd half he looked like a beached
       whale.

Yeah, we were terrible. On another day that try isn't given and
we nail the 2 sitters, but regardless what has happened to our
attack? Defensively we look much better but if you can't make
line breaks you ain't gonna win games. Wuss have a dogged
defence but there's no excuse for not scoring a properly
manufactured try against them in 80 minutes of rugby.

I'd agree RR. We didn't manufacture a decent attack in the
entire game, it was all flukey individual efforts that made
       anything happen for us.

Tom Casson scored one away at London Irish but I thought that
       was his thigh

Echos of away games in recent years where they really struggled
to get going. Credit to Worcester who kept it really tight
throughout and Quins could work out how to break them down.
I thought this game would be a bit of a landmark as to our
progress and it’s disapponting we couldn’t have done more. Think
that’s just where we are now and there is still a lot of change
and progress to be made. There has been a lot for them to
addrsss. I will still be relieved when/if we avoid relegation...
But despite looking quite disjointed as a team what is a big
relief is not to lose big and to hang in there for another LBP.
It may make for some grim performances in the meantime but
defensively things are a lot better. Looking at how Worcester
played I think we’d have lost by a lot more last year.
We’ve got to just hang in there.

Bad result, bad performance. Despite that, and not being "rose
tinted" I am still positive for where we are heading. Last
season was a huge mess and Gustards job to turn it around, I
think was massive. The defence has been a real plus point this
season and that is a great place to start. Bit like what
Sarries did. Built a strong solid foundation and grew on that.
Attacking wise they are now as good as anyone but, they are
still very solid. The attack does seem to have suffered but I
all honestly I can live with that for a period (small acorns and
all that). As the season goes on I would expect the attack to
start proving a bit more of a threat.
I still see a bit of a clear out coming in the summer (and I
think it is needed). I like the way that PG is doing things
with the squad, not scared to leave out big names for players
that are showing they deserve a chance. Keeping people on their
       toes.
Horwill is a massive miss for me, him/robshaw just make us look
a different side. There was a passage of play in the second
half yesterday where it went real keystone cops, poor handling,
decision making, execution. We really needed a leader to call
the boys in, give a chat and calm it down. I hope PG lokos at
that when his makes his signings for next year. Symons was also
       a big loss at HT
All in all, a bad day but after last season I expect we will
have days like this. Not going to change over night but still
reason to be positive going forward i think
