       I know it covers Sky from the satellite days, after someone won
       a court case that he only watched Sky and never BBC as he had no
       aerial, the decided to change to be 'any device that can receive
       BBC', but not sure re the others as you can't get a live signal
       through them. If they show BBC content then that is already
       covered through the charge.
       If they want to have a survey on what of their current BBC
       content you would pay for, then there would be enough headroom
       for live sport

       You need to buy a license if you watch anything live.
       E.g.
       Watch live foreign TV
       Watch a live stream of a University lecture on Youtube
       Watch a live sporting event (e.g. Australian open) on Amazon
       Prime
       etc

       I think the TV licence fee is fantastic value. BBC has Great
       content, always innovative and no blinking ads!!
