Looks to me as if Quins have made up for those absent through
injury, by giving the 23 a look of heft or grunt - especially
CCS back to starting. This might make the game less of running
rugby (from both) than I would have liked. [emoji851]
We'll see who dominates the scrums and does likewise with the
lineouts. Not going to guess who might take the spoils here.
This should be a good moment for sometime LS man Ben Waghorn.
His opposite 12 has the captain's armband, and is a different
style 12 to Tuipolotu.
Tomorrow @20:00 can't come soon enough! CU There. [emoji1360]

Minty used to “temp” in the 2nd row.

Nice mix. Some real abrasiveness in the pack, and Wev to come on
against tiring players is a positive. Glad to see Lawday back in
the mix.

I'm guessing that they are happy with the form of Sean Dyche and
want him in the team.
IIRC Both Alex and CCS have played in the 2nd row so they could
move 4, 6,and 8 around if worst came to it.
Very pleased for Ben as well.

Oh boy, and there was me making out Waghorn would be a big
gamble. That's uh, a selection all right

A local lad (to me at least) but I hadn’t realised how big
Waghorn is. Useful!

Team desperate for carriers and physicality. Think it’s why Will
Evans has been in the bench so much recently. Chisholm, CCS,
Kennigham and Dombrandt can all heavy carry plus Lawday from
bench. It perhaps what the front row and 2nd row haven’t
contributed much this season apart from Jibs who low seemingly
white his move is down the the pecking order

Maybe the logic is to overload the pack with ball carriers to
take the pressure off Waghorn for his first (meaningful) start.
I imagine we'll see a fair few 5-man lineouts with one or two of
Chis, CCS, Dommers out in the 12 channel to be the strike play
targets most of the time and then Waghorn can be brought into
the attack on second or third phase ball. But from the limited
minutes he's played, he looks like he can handle himself too...
Hope he goes well!

Rolling maul seen as the tactic to win the game?
Still can’t see us doing one on Glasgow, but here’s hoping
