Weird assertion. Ben Ryan is a life-long Brentford football fan.
He's also done consultancy work in rugby and other sports.

Well Brentford's performance isn't bad for a team with the
second smallest ground in the premier league. And I'd imagine
he's on significantly more money than any premiership job in
rugby.

If we had a head coach who succeeded elsewhere you know he might
turn it around at some point
But he hasn’t. Why he got the job is a mystery. When was the
last time we appointed a proven head coach with past success
though? I can’t think of one in the last 20 years

Rassie, Razor, Schmidt. We could dream. But we're not going to
get a (decent, current) international coach.
Any decent super rugby or SA URC coaches available?

I don’t think he is the right guy. We should be performing
better than we are - albeit with the caveat that yesterday was
probably one of our better performances, certainly in attack.
For me he has two games to save his job until the end of the
season. Beat Glasgow and Saints at home and he’ll get till the
end of the season. If we do, I would then re-assess from there.
We have a better team than how we’ve been performing. And
unfortunately you cannot sack the players, so the coaches have
to accept it falls on them

If Quins are considered to be underperforming, how is that
measured?
Is it purely league position or more of an opinion on playing
style, skills, etc.?

Maybe Laurie knows but there isn’t anyone interested or
available. Also we need a reshuffle across the coaching set up.
