Forgive me if this might seem not to adhere to the Quins brand,
but might it not be time for a bit of tough love, eg something
along the lines of Pat Sanderson or Steve Diamond? And just need
to respond to previous assessment of Deano - yes, terrible
decision making in that Leinster match, but his recruitment laid
the foundations for quite a few years after.

Well it wasn't only that match!
And we tried the tough love approach with Gustard.
I'd still have liked Ben Ryan.

I think it is a captaincy problem.
The coach prepares the team for the game.
Then the captain has to keep the discipline on the field.
I am not 100% sure that Alex is the right person.

I just think we need a bit of dog, we are a very nice team full
of good blokes. Who in our squad has a bit of needle or that a
non Quins fan would think he’s hard as nails or will grab the
team and read the riot act? As a Quins fan I can’t think of one.
I don’t just mean a hard carrier or tackler but someone with
       that extra edge.
Add to that which coach do we have that will absolutely flip his
lid (when required) and give that roasting we all need from time
to time? I’m not sure any have that, they are technically good
       coaches.
Under Delano and in the early days of Gustard we did have a bit
       of steel and resilience.
Not convinced by Wilson. I think we need to get a proven winner
someone who has been about a bit and from a winning environment.
I also wonder how his appointment was received by the players,
for those who have read/listened to DCs book you’ll know the
       reaction JK’s appointment got.

For anyone who is Wilson and coaching team in, I want to know
       why.
I fail to see with our current direction we are anything other
than a team which is where is at - flopped in Europe and the
       bottom end of the premiership

Not confident in any of the coaches at the moment as, even with
a weaker squad than last year, our best team on paper should
being doing a lot more than we have seen. Doesn’t mean I agree
with getting rid of them all but am struggling to see what
Wilson adds. Let’s hope the season has some life in it for us
somehow, let them try and sort and if results still poor, change
       in the summer.

Let’s not forget we are the second most expensive team to
       support. Value for money?

Doesn't sound like a confidence issue to me. Quins had a real
crack at Toulon at times today and kept the ball in hand far
more than we've seen in recent months. They didn't lack
confidence. Dombrandt didn't miss that try because of anything
other than expecting the offload to be the scoring pass - he
simply presumed the defender wouldn't let him walk in. The
forward passes and other errors were failures of skill, not
       ambition.

There’s clearly something up with Ben Ryan who ended up in a
“performance” job at Brentford and didn’t get a single job in
       rugby.
