Because you've made that up. The problem with Quins is not that
they can't find his wavelength. It doesn't really have anything
to do with him at all. We've had no consistency of selection and
a huge problem with unforced errors allied to a much more
defence focused game plan. We have a mediocre set piece to go
with it.
Listen, toga, I know you're dying to say it, so why don't you
just inform the board of your latest theory about Marcus and get
it over with?

Quins have scored 32 tries.
That is not made up.
You can't have it both ways. If Quins aren't scoring tries then
the creator-in-chief needs to take some of the blame for that.
Same for England.

I get that it is a difficult fact to reconcile that England only
won once last year and Quins are not scoring many tries and will
almost certainly not make the playoffs this season. There comes
a time when some blame will find it's way to the flyhalf with
that kind of record just as it did with previous holders of the
shirt.

Nope that's not going to work - no one is fooled by your
attempts to make out that Quins aren't scoring tries because of
Marcus, given the team's failings are well known and discussed
and nauseam on here. We both know you'd be using winning records
instead if Saints weren't doing terribly in the league this
season.
And given you've been coming out with stuff like this on other
boards, there isn't a chance in hell that you should be treated
as being on the level when it comes to Marcus

apparently so it seems odd that Quins keep losing."
Stick to trying to convince people that Elliott Daly is the best
choice at 15 for England, there's a good boy

Maybe you should try pretending to be fair minded? You might be
able to develop a more rounded and reasoned view of the game.
I'm a big fan of Marcus Smith, he's got loads of talent and is
definitely test quality. That is a huge endorsement but it
doesn't mean he doesn't have flaws and he certainly shouldn't be
immune to any blame because the 14 other players wearing the
same shirt as him are not on his wavelength.
