Glasgow putting Racing to the sword

       Shows me two things:
       1. Epitomises our soft underbelly of this season. A poor loss
       even away in the wind/rain.
       2. Going to be a seriously tough game next week when Glasgow
       come to town.

Glasgow are a tidy outfit and certainly are capable of playing
some great rugby. Would they take Wilson back?

Glasgow have had 4 head coaches in the last decade: Gregor
Townsend won the league and got to the QFs of the HC for the
first time before leaving for the Scotland job; Dave Rennie got
to the QFs of the HC and narrowly lost a league final before
leaving for the Australia job; Franco Smith has so far taken us
to a Challenge Cup final and won the league, and is being talked
about by many as Townsend's successor at Scotland.... sandwiched
between Rennie and Smith, Wilson was foisted on Glasgow after a
pretty miserable time as Scotland's forwards coach, as it was
presumably cheaper for the SRU - he was sacked after shipping 70
points against Leinster and failing to qualify for the HC for
the first time in donkeys years. I'll be politer than most
Glasgow supporters would be and say that he's clearly not a bad
coach, but it didn't work for him here!
Racing made a lot of changes last night so hard to judge where
the two teams were at. But you can only beat what's in front of
you, and we looked good in the first half in particular. From a
Glasgow perspective, it was much like our game against Sale -
try bonus point wrapped up in the first half against a pretty
poor opposition, foot off the gas, and they added a bit of
       respectability towards the end.

Well Wilson is consistent then, it’s not working for him here
       either.
I think if we end the season as bang average as we’ve looked so
far we need a change of head coach.
The failure to find a new game plan post Andre is really poor.

       Nope. Never. Not a chance.

This. He kinda banked on Lennox stepping up, but the only
stepping he’s done is sideways and most likely over the channel.
We’ve also tried in vein to hope Northmore is a good 12, but he
will always, always be better at 13.
The issue is we are still trying to play like we have Andre
running the lines he does abs getting over the gain line, but
obviously we done. Our failure to change game plan really has
cost us creativity wise. If we can’t seemingly get anyone new
now, I’d look to see what else we can have. I’d even consider
Jarrod Evans at 12, he’s a good playmaker and could be a
different angle on things. Either that or Bradley

In that case, where does the issue lie? If fans can see it, so
       can the coaches and players.
Even if the coaches still blindly insist that’s the way to play,
why would the players carry on if it’s not working?

Given how we've chopped and changed the midfield constantly this
season, albeit mostly through injury, I don't think suggesting
even more changes makes sense. I like Bradley and Hyde but at
this point we shouldn't switch from Northmore and Beard unless
forced to. They're the most experienced pairing and the most
       likely to succeed.

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing JEv at 12, Northmore at 13 and
Beard on the wing instead of David.
