Yes against Scotland and played left wing.

Great to see young Murley get a league start.
Meanwhile Ibitoye must be sick to the back teeth of the timing
of his injury, otherwise he'd be in for a run of starts with
Morris' injury.
Agree with a few of what has been said above with Visser. I get
the impression that PG just isn't impressed with him and he's
not in his plans. Ditto Walker. Going forwards it looks like
we've got Earle, Morris/Brown, RChis, Ibitoye, Murley on first
team duty with Coyle and Barlow in the wings.

I don’t recall the exact sequence of events last year but wasn’t
Visser also frozen out for a period under JK?
Clearly there is something up with him. Attitude or approach to
training? Discipline/commitment? Looking at some of his best
performances it can’t be down to ability...

And therein, I suspect, lies the problem. His "best"
performances have been few and far between - he has a tendency
to go missing during games, then pop up with the odd
interception to put a gloss on his overall performance. A
wonderful finisher at his best but doesn't have the work ethic
of the likes of Earle, nor is he solid enough in defence.

Yes, I really like Visser and Walker. Good players who offer
different things. However, Earle is terrific and has offered us
a step up in terms of consistency and quality.
I feel the same is true of Crumpton and Tapuai.
Good recruitment this summer!

I think Visser and Walker now pretty much offer nothing however.
They were both awful when given their chance this season.

All very true. The point about defence is most telling - I
suspect with PG’s focus on this area this year, those weaker or
not putting in a full shift in defence will fall well down the
pecking order...

I don't think the importance of tonight's game can be
over-stated. Win this one well and we've come through an
international window with decent results for the first time in a
long time, and can have a good crack at the chiefs in a game
nobody expects us to win. Lose and all the misgivings creep back
in...

Walkers out there tonight warming up so guess he's the non
playing travelling reserve, so he must offer something (Wallace
looks to be the forward non playing travelling reserve)
