Team’s up for the opening game:
Harlequins Head Coach Ross Chisholm names his side for
Saturday's Big Game 16, as Quins host Leicester Tigers at
       Allianz Stadium.
       It’s an unchanged, all-international front-row with Italy’s
Silvia Turani at loosehead prop and Connie Powell returning at
hooker after another try last time out, taking her tally to six
for the season. England’s Lizzie Hanlon is in at tighthead to
complete the front-row, making her first appearance at
Twickenham since her England debut earlier this year.
Scotland’s Sarah Bonar makes her first home start of the season,
partnering Wallaroo Kaitlan Leaney in the second-row. Abbie
Fleming joins her international teammate Alex Callender in the
back row and Scotland’s Jade Konkel captains the side from
       number eight.
Red Roses scrum-half Lucy Packer makes her return from injury
partnering with fly-half Kayleigh Powell. The ever-present Lagi
Tuima starts at inside centre and is joined by Spanish
international Clàudia Peña in the midfield.
Beth Wilcock starts at 14 and is joined by Lisa Neumann on the
other wing. Ellie Kildunne completes the starting lineup at
       fullback.
Harlequins Women Head Coach Ross Chisholm said: "Playing at
Twickenham is always special, and tomorrow is no different for
our girls. It's the game that everyone marks in their calendar
at the start of the season as one they want to play in.
"Leicester will be gunning for this one, they've got players who
are used to stepping up for big occasions and we've got to be at
our best to get what we want out of this game.
"We're proud to be a part of an event of this scale, hopefully
we can put on a show on the pitch that's fitting with the
       occasion.”

       And their opponents:
The matchday squad for Saturday's Premiership Women's Rugby away
game against Harlequins Women has been named.
The match is part of Harlequins 'Big Game', held at Twickenham
Stadium, sitting as part of a double header, with the men's team
       also battling 'Quins.
Two players return to a reshuffled starting XV, with Meg Jones
and Francesca McGhie set to start in the centres and wing
       respectively.
There's a switch in the pack as captain Roisin McBrien moves to
No. 8 while Katie Childs, only previously deployed in the
       centres, will start at flanker.
Both McGhie and Childs are set to make milestone appearances,
their 20th and 40th Leicester Tigers matches respectively.
Amongst the replacements, there are two returns. Tiana Gordon is
back in the squad having missed the Saracens fixture, while USA
international Keia Mae Sagapolu Sanele is named in a Premiership
squad for the first time this season, having recovered from an
       injury suffered on international duty.
Speaking ahead of the game, Head Coach Tom Hudson said: "We're
back from a three week break between matches and so our
preparations have for this fixture have been crucial.
"Even with the festivities surrounding the last few days, the
squad have been exemplary in handling the requirements we've
laid out as a coaching team.
"Saturday will be a big occasion and we're excited to embrace
the challenges it throws our way."

It is a pity that Nicole Wythe isn't playing.
She is usually a bit of a handful.

She’s been a breakthrough player this season, but it sounded
like she dislocated her shoulder in the last game against
       Gloucester-Hartpury. Hope she recovers quickly.

Harlequins have named their matchday squad to take on Leicester
Tigers in the Gallagher Premiership in front of a sold-out
Allianz Stadium for Big Game 16 (Sat 28 Dec, 18:00).
Danny Wilson has made seven changes to the starting XV as
Harlequins aim to bounce back on the biggest stage in club
       rugby.
In the forwards, Titi Lamositele returns to the front row at
tighthead. He'll pack down alongside Fin Baxter at loosehead and
       Jack Walker at hooker.
The imposing figure of Irne Herbst returns to the second row to
partner Dino Lamb. Meanwhile, there is a double switch in the
back row as James Chisholm will line up blindisde and Jack
Kenningham at openside for the festive fixture.
The ever-present Alex Dombrandt will skipper the side from the
base of the scrum at No 8.
Danny Care will feature in his 16th edition of Big Game after
being named to start at scrum-half, where he'll partner Marcus
Smith in the half-backs, who'll be wearing the number 10 jersey.
Luke Northmore returns to the starting XV alongside Oscar Beard
in the centres. Harlequins' wingers remain unchanged in the form
of Cadan Murley and Rodrigo Isgro, and Nick David is named at
       full-back.
Amongst the impact platers for the Round Nine contest, Joe
Launchbury returns to the wider matchday squad.
Sam Riley, Wyn Jones and Dillon Lewis retain their spots in the
squad, while Chandler Cunningham-South and Will Evans will be
seeking to make an impact when introduced at HQ.
Will Porter and Jarrod Evans complete Harlequins matchday 23 for
       Big Game 16

Thanks, interesting article. I've seen the importance of games
at Twickenham debated on here before, well:
Laurie D: "This year's will be the highest-grossing Big Game the
club has ever had. The turnover represents probably 8-10% of the
club's turnover [approximately £27m annually in the past two
       years of full accounts]."
As profits have risen, so have prices, and Big Game's break-even
       point has dropped.
The cheapest tickets, pitched at £10 for Big Game 1, are now £36
       for adults.
Once 40,000 have been sold, the fixture is more profitable than
had it been played at the Stoop.
While the Big Summer KO maybe hasn't really got off the ground
yet, you can see why the club is so keen to go with it.

Shame Tyrone is seemingly injured. Might be unpopular but I’d
have started Halfpenny, as their back 3 isn’t exactly rapid so
probably a less of a threat, and he has been fairly dependable
       when called upon.
