Those through the turnstiles at kick off OR crowd scanning
software. Neither can be really accurate.

They have already said that it will be done by crowd scanning,
but the press release said it was a mix of software and human
checking. If they are going to record a world record, as they
hope, they need to be accurate enough to satisfy the Guinness
evaluators.

What an unneccessarily churlish post from one of our favourite
trolls. It is the Season of Joy and Merriment you old Cassandra.

Does anyone know if we can take small ruck sacks into Twickenham
? I always bring my own food & drink into the Stoop. I don't
want to pay astronomical prices for bad food. Please let me
know. Thanks.

It will be on the stadium t&cs, but they generally allow bags
smaller than A4. Empty water bottles are allowed (and there are
stations to fill them in various places); I’ve not tried taking
food in so I don’t know if it’s something the stewards will
confiscate, but the bag checks are usually fairly cursory

I’ve previously taken a tote bag to Twickenham with a few
snacks, a sandwich and a bottle of water. Not had any issues. I
think they’re mainly trying to avoid people bringing large bags.

Just put a bacon sarnie in your pocket. If they pat you down and
ask what it is tell them it's your colostomy bag. Should be
soggy enough by then to ensure the subterfuge.

Small bags, A4 size is the guide, are not a problem; larger bags
need to be checked in at a drop off point defeating the object
and a cost of £10 IIRC. Tins are a no, soft food packages
probably not a problem as long as not excessive.
