Swing the bat may have been the most irritating self satisfied
crap that’s existed since “that’s just what we do”. It normally
predicates getting spanked.

From what I heard a couple of years ago the salary cap is/was
only a guide figure and wasn’t fully enforceable. The usual
suspect was winning everything up until then with a team packed
with internationals. Looks like that has changed since the last
round of club commitments to the WPL. The talent has been far
more evenly spread creating a more competitive league. Quins
don’t have the pick of the better players anymore as other clubs
have invested in their women’s squads. Except Bath for some
reason. As you say poorfour, last year was a turbulent one with
many changes within the set up. Looks like it’s all coming
together nicely now.
It’s great that we have a player of this quality
committed for a few more seasons.
