Excellent news. Comes across very well in all interviews and
seems to love being at Quins. Future captain imo.
In terms of TH prospects, we have Hobson, Ashworth and Streeter
who have all been involved in the England u20s set ups.
Hopefully Bomb can develop at least one of these to partner Fin
in the long term.

Ceri was great as well, always fronted up and bled for the
shirt.
Re THs, have to say that Kerrod has put his hand up in the last
2 weeks and is looking better than two international THs. That
said, I did think Lewis was playing well at the end of last
season.

I hope Kerrod gets a run in the shirt. He has rarely looked bad
when he’s had his chances, but has been unlucky to be behind a
string of very strong first choices.

The dearth of talent for Wales at the moment is more reflective
of how Lewis is an "international" rather than his actual
playing level.
I don't know what Titi's excuse is. He looks unfit, is immobile
round the park and seems to take about three or four scrums
before he's figured out how not to give penalties away. A poor
signing so far.

If Oliver Reed had played prop... I'm sure Jase would have
enjoyed the afters!

Reed was certainly a huge rugby fan, so he was probably also a
player in his schooldays. There doesn’t seem to be a record of
whether he was a prop or not. But I imagine in his heyday Jase
could have kept up with him for at least a decent chunk of the
evening…. And then got up and played a test match the next day.

I saw somewhere that Titi is having to adapt to how scrums work
in the Premiership from how they are set up in France.
Apparently it’s different enough to take time to learn.

Sounds reasonable. Wasn't it Carl Harman that said it took him a
whole season to settle?

Can someone explain the technicalities of how they can be set up
so differently that an international can’t adapt quicker than
that, genuine question.
