frustrating errors. Then it started clicking, Dombrandt, Care,
and Smith all excellent, the wings brilliant in the air, and the
defence stood up really well to sustained attacking periods. The
major turning point was the period when Herbst was yellowed,
Quins stepped up a gear and started running away with it.

people unless they actually stab someone, but there were a
decent number of cheap shots from the Stormers on top of the
yellows they conceded as well.

kicking game; a massive 50-22 from Marcus, several raking kicks
turning them, one fantastic cross kick, and a number of superb
box kicks by Care that we regathered at will.

Took us 15mins or so to get into the game, but really put an
inexperienced Stormers team to the sword in that second half.
Isgro's overhead catch and mid-air offload to Green was class,
and Hammond's offload for Murley's second was pretty tasty too.
A fun watch and hopefully that result will kick-start some
momentum for us.

Towards the end, Isgro was producing almost pornographic
offloads, if at least 2 don't make highlight reels I'll be
disapointed. Tonight was a must win against a 2nd team who did
not wan't to be there, however you can only play the provided
opposition, we had a great run out and Glos next Friday will be
very different!.

Unfortunately no highlights of Steve Borthwick being booed when
he was shown in the stand on the big screens?

Murley and Isgro were really good in all facets of the game.
However, they were particularly good at competing for the aerial
ball. Rodders won a number really cleanly and dropped them to
Tyrone perfectly. Murley's ability to time his hit on the
catcher was excellent too.
Our first choice back three are really special. Let's hope their
union continues to develop

Better 60 performance against a depleted Stormers side. The real
test for Quins is away at a revitalised Gloucester, to see if we
can back it up.

Well it's patently clear...
All is bad in the dressing room; players are unhappy; everyone
is leaving; our kicking game is awful; we can't attack and don't
score tries; Marcus is off to Stormers as he spoke to one of
their players. And our defence is terrible.
Signed MQ/Stephen Jones 😉😁

A lot of last night was great to watch. Great offloads,
attacking with pace and actually putting away a team that
deserved to be put away. Dombrandt will rightly get the plaudits
but it was a very good team performance with few weak
performances.
First 20 was a bit ropey with some odd decisions made but
Stormers didn’t take advantage and from the second try onwards
it was pretty much one way traffic.
Lots will be said about the competition and SA teams sending
reserve sides up (to be fair to Stormers they had a lot of
injuries) but none of that is anything to do with our players
and the really enjoyable rugby they played last night. Thanks
lads, that was good fun!
On to next week, Gloucester send a second string and got beaten
at Vannes so they should be fit and raring to go but we got some
good miles in the legs last night.
