Is he the only Englishman hoping we do not make the final?
If the RWC was this week then form would suggest a NZ - Ireland
final as epic as last Saturday. And I am sure WB would have the
whistle.
But it is a year away and anything can happen. Sides can choke.

Fairly sure with the draw that NZ-Ire Final is impossible
actually.
England have a decent chance at the final as they won’t have to
face any of NZ, Ireland or SA before then

Barnes was that good that I got irritated when the commentator
kept talking over him.

I don't think that is correct IF we win our group we would play
NZ When they win theirs

Group winners wouldn't play other group winners. Winner plays
runner up.

We'd meet in the Semis if we both win our groups. Assuming
Ireland win their group, they would meet NZ in the final. If we
are runner up in our group, we'd meet Ireland in the Semi (if
they win their group), & NZ in the Final

Retallick should have been carded for knocking down the ball
when lying offside in front of the posts. Apart from that he was
excellent as usual.
