There were no 8pm games from recollection, those were left for
the Challenge Cup. The travelling to South Africa means a lot of
fans have lost what might have been an attractive away weekend

I wouldn't say the competition has lost it's appeal for me, but
the timing of the games is far from ideal and I am sure will put
lots of people off in the run up to Christmas.
The switch of TV provider for English fans isn't ideal but great
for URC fans that already subscribed.
I took the decision not to take a yearly subscription and didn't
take a monthly one this month, I may subscribe in Jan or future
months if we get to knockout stages.

Used to enjoy catching up with all the games or at least having
them on in the background while doing family stuff but not going
to pay for yet another service - so haven't seen a second of any
of the games so far.
Lucky enough to live a 10 min walk from the Stoop so can make it
this Sat but only by chance coz we've got an Xmas thing planned
Sunday instead -- 4 of my season ticket mates won't be there
this week coz of Xmas stuff.

I think the fundamental issue is that it's difficult to look
beyond two or three teams winning it. Let's face it, it'll be
one of Toulouse, La Rochelle or Ireland (sorry, Leinster)
lifting the trophy.
That lack of real competition and jeopardy means it becomes
difficult for the majority of rugby fans to get too excited
about it.
Quins and Saints did well to get to the semi's last season, but
both comprehensively beaten in the end. The disparity in overall
squad qualiy versus the big boys is just too great

I wouldn’t rule out Bordeaux Begles either.

Did it ever have any real sparkle? I’d always want the
Premiership over Europe but accept I could be in a minority of
one with that view. Nice if we do well, not fussed if we don’t.

Last season was something special, the trips to Bordeaux and
Toulouse where up with some of the best away trips I’ve been on
and great games, at the moment after 3rd consecutive trip to
Racing, I’m craving another Timisoria or Italy in the challenge
cup

I'd take a trip to Prato please. I remember their supporters
club closed the road and put on a massive Italian buffet for us.
