Worrying lack of game management from Dommers and Smith. Take
some of the 3-point opportunities in the first half and that
could have played out very differently. Kicking three restarts
in a row long so they can clear their lines by 60-odd metres
under no pressure whatsoever is just poor, especially when the
first two have led to them scoring. Maybe it's coming from
Wilson but either way it's basic stuff which really hurt us.

I didn’t say he was going, I said his head was being turned.
And I understand why that is. Hope he stays but can see why he
wouldn’t. Not sure why you are getting so picky about this one.
We know that some of our bright young things are being tapped
up and I’m simply saying I can see why they might move on for
       reasons other than money too.

As I’ve said, overall we are a bang average side, and we do need
a shake up. The results over the years speak for themselves, and
we certainly aren’t anything special this season.
       The main issues
       - Terrible leadership
       - woeful mistakes
       - mentally just not at the races
       - stale attack often doing nothing with all the ball we have
       - a defense easily chipped away at with enough pressure
       - look incredibly unfit in comparison to most we play
I’m convinced we just sit around hoping the spirit of 2021 turns
up where we can throw the ball through our legs without looking
and watch a winger run in a try.
I think what best describes Quins is flat track bullies. When
it’s nice weather, and there isn’t any curve balls, we might put
some stuff together. Outside of that often second best, bar the
one game a season we really get ourselves up for (this year
       that’s already occured vs Sarries)

I can't understand why you pick up on rumours in spite of a
plethora of players who would be on the shopping list of may
Prem teams are re-signing. And if players move on, as is
inevitable, how do you know their reasons for doing so?

       Didn't see the game - I don't have premier sports - but I'm
extremely happy for those people who get energised by our
       defeats. Merry Christmas, lads.

Yet another poor performance and disappointing loss. Oh well,
who needs wins when the Sports Business Awards named us club of
       the year…

There are a few comparisons starting to creeping in maybe from
the JK times for sure, which put an emphasis almost on the off
the pitch side of things trying to turn the stoop into a concert
venue etc. whilst building a brand and a business is crucial for
survival, we need to get the balance right between that and the
actual rugby on the pitch which is the nuts and bolts.
It’s clear reading on the replies to the official Facebook post
many, many people are starting to get fed up, and see the same
things a few of us have already been saying. I don’t enjoy
watching Quins lose, and play the way they are, and I refuse to
accept it and make excuses for it on outside influences for our
results being the way they are.

       a good showing at all.

Have to agree. On the whole our recruitment over the previous 3
or 4 seasons has been excellent, but we're missing go forward in
midfield and the drop-off at tighthead from Louw and Collier to
Titi and Lewis is hurting us. Add in the mid-season retirement
of Joe and our scrum, which was the platform for such much
success in recent seasons, isn't there.
Halfpenny was a strange signing in that he's the antithesis of
Green. Would rather see David being used at fullback where he's
far more effective than on the wing.
I'd say Launchbury may be the biggest disappointment in terms of
       signings. He doesn't look fit.

Look - the glass is half full. We are ahead of Saints and
Exeter. Exeter are 0-7 so far AND we have beaten Sarries. We
have re-signed a good group of players already. I take the point
about T-H but Kerrod is a good player. We also have young Hobson
emerging as a T-H. Also, don't forget Cleaves, Zheng, Anderson
(who played really well for Scottish yesterday), Trenholm and
Zheng. Barely 18 years old, Lucas Friday was a travelling
       reserve to Racing yesterday also.
We play the mis-firing Stormers at home next Saturday in
hopefully more Quins-like weather conditions too, with a few
       players back hopefully.
It is not all doom and gloom looking ahead by any means !

We have 3 wins from 8 in Prem and Champions Cup and have only
beaten Falcons (2/7 after a 25 game losing streak), Chiefs (who
are 0-8), and Saracens (which took our best performance in
years, and they just lost to Falcons).
       That’s really disappointing.
Danny Wilson starting to sound a bit like Gustard with his
“we’ll learn from this and bounce back with a win next week”
sound bites, just to not learn from it or win the following
       week…
