Quins women v Ealing Sat 30th Nov 3.00pm ko

After the emotion (and disappointment) of last night, I am going
to watch high-flying Quins women at the The Stoop this
afternoon. A strong team, with World Player of the Year Ellie
Kildunne back, it should be a great match. Weather is milder but
overcast - looking forward to it.

One thing not to like was one of the Ealing coaches.
He was 'that' guy. You know the type - he had better eyesight
than the ref.

Serious question
What does it cost to run a women’s full time team(not all prem
teams do). Is it run at a profit or as I suspect a huge loss ?

All of rugby is currently running at a loss you pathetic
individual, wirralquin.
We all know you do not think women should play professional
sport, vote, work, or do anything constructive except for
laundry and bringing up children.
So how about you leave this group. You are not wanted here.

No idea, but if the owners are happy to pay it doesn't matter
how much it costs.

It was a good day and a good win. Quins forwards were on top at
the set-pieces all game. Jade Konkel led by example as usual
(how much we missed her for a lot of last season !), Nicole
Wythe was sheer power (what a find !) and Ellie Kildunne was
majestic.
Ross Chisholm has something great going now - 6 wins in
succession.
We have Loughborough away in 2 weeks time and then Tigers at the
Big Game. Possible 9/10 points on offer here.

“But…but… people I don’t know and have no influence over are
paying money out for this and because it’s a Women’s team, I’m
going to have a hissy fit every time they are mentioned - even
though those people that I don’t know and can’t influence have
said that their investment does not impact on the men’s side of
things”. There we go, saved WirralQuin the effort and we can
all go back to being very proud of the women’s section for
extraordinary performances lately.
