Not sure I agree with that. We were being opened up out wide and
their attacking patterns & accuracy were the key to their
success, not punching through us. We gave as good as we got in
midfield but the reality is the system got taken apart by some
top tier attacking work. They exploited mismatches and created &
picked off overlaps with incredible efficiency.

Good to see so many people giving credit to Bristol. Yes we were
poor in that second half but Bristol's attack was something else
and they worked hard and defended well when they had to. Fair
play to Pat Lam, I thought his days were numbered but he's
exactly the sort of coach we need right now

Bristol were great value for their win last night. They fully
clicked in attack, support lines were excellent, offloads almost
always at the right time and ruthlessly efficient in wide areas.
A couple of seasons ago they were all over the shop with Lam’a
job under threat but they’re in with a real chance this season.
It’s a great record that they have this year and back end of
last season. Some great recruitment and building under the
radar, a real change of tack from the big stars approach they
had previously.
We had moments tonight but that’s all they were. Lineout was
not good at all. Too many instances of lobbing the ball out of
contact with no real idea of where it was going, runners were
often isolated with support over running them. Getting a TBP was
a decent consolation. Not sure whether Joe’s sudden retirement
was a bit of a distraction, but that’s by the by sometimes you
just have to say well done to the opposition on a fantastic
performance.
Absolutely nothing to do with him or his reffing but I’m
convinced we always seem to play badly when Luke Pearce refs us!

Bristol fan in peace.
We are all in awe of the very generous praise you are giving our
performance last night. Very magnamanous of you. Compare that to
those of our closest neighbours....!
I think that was a game of two attacking sides who show what
this wonderful game can be like and hopefully attract more
supporters and sponsors as we are in danger of losing more sides
to oblivion.
Best of luck for the rest of the season, hope to see you in the
final of the premiership as long as it's not a repeat (for us)
of 'that' semi-final! [emoji50]

They play as a team in attack. We play as individuals. How many
passes went to nobody?
We were an absolute shambles.

Well, it was great to watch from a rugby point of view. Exciting
game, lots of really great rugby on display. Unfortunately
Bristol played most of it. They were what I thought we aspired
to, in attack. Our defence was good (not great) but what can you
do faced with an onslaught like that? But it also highlighted
our attack is not what it should be. We couldn't string together
the long periods of pressure while making ground that Bristol
did.

Brizzle played fantastic rugby, Quins were really rather meh. We
looked out of shape and disorganised.
I do think that a bigger midfield would have worked better for
us, we were often broken by one of the big Fijians or Mullet boy
through the middle and then they just flooded the wings after
huge mis passes.
Quins just didn't adapt.

Watching the highlights back this morning and we honestly don’t
look fit enough. Or maybe it’s that Bristol are ultra fit.
Either way we seemed like we couldn’t keep up with them
