It's the ideal game to rest him for though, since we have to
rest him at some point (I think?) Given the fact we're not going
to have Joe after this weekend, we'll need Fin every single game
he's available, starting next weekend.

I think it’s already ‘sold out’ but would expect a lot more ST
holders to attend even though it’s a Friday night which isn’t
always ideal for all.

i saw Joe getting off the train at Waterloo on Tuesday - pretty
sure he came out of the first class carriage ;).
Was too shy / didnt want to disturb him and say thank you. I
really wish I had.

And they don't make Joe sound like a bad scrummager...

when your scrums in retreat
and you've collapsed off your feet
thatsa Marla
that rhyme any better :-)
going to miss you Joe, so many fond memories, loved the tying of
boot laces and all those little things that went on over the
years. Thanks for everything you've done for Quins and good luck
with strictly or whatever comes next.

So a big night on Friday for Joe, the team and the club. Whether
we win or lose it will be a special night but a win would be
good! We want top 4.
Easily my best memory of Joe in a Quins shirt was the 2012 home
semi-final against Saints. Losing with 4 minutes to go, the pack
comes up with a superb lineout drive led by Easter and Joe. They
rumble towards the South Stand, the fans yelling, including me
and my mate, the backs join in and over the line they go. Has
Joe grounded the ball? We look to the TMO screen. TRY! Joe turns
to the fans, winks at the camera and smiles. Just class! We're
off to the Big Stoop for the final.....
The video clip of that moment is online. If someone is able to
do the techy bit and post it on here that would be kinda good.
Go well Joe.

Around a dozen+ years ago Joe visited the Pulborough youngsters
on a Sunday morning. I remember with fondness when asked by one
of the lads: "were you upset that you didn't earn the money
footballers did?", he simply replied: " no, I love the game like
you all do, & that's more important".
He became my favourite player then, & still is.
Love you Joe, good luck with the future (& I can't wait until
you appear on Strictly Come Dancing). 😉

When Ayerza's headbutt
Gets a right uppercut
That's Joe Marler
When the Hask gets upset
Cos you made him all wet
That's Joe Marler
When the TV mic's hot
You say stuff you should not
That's Joe Marler
When a prop lasts all game
But makes hits just the same
That's Joe Marler
When your haircut becomes
A free ad for your chums
That's Joe Marler
When you break in the Stoop
So your eyelids can droop
That's Joe Marler

Like every song made up and posted on this forum - really
embarrassing. Can we please not have this? The Danny care one is
vaguely alright but only coz it only consists of the words “oh
Danny care”.
Rugby and clever/funny songs simply refuse to go together.
Why are they all like bad 6th form poems?
