It’s great that they are learning whilst having a central
contract, it’s a bit like a building site and taking your time
when you are on day rate.

Genge, George and Itoje are all way past their best. Not sure
Earl did much, apart from being Kolisi's tackle dummy. Steward
at least went some way to nullifying the aerial threat. Slade
put a nice long kick in, so yes clearly guaranteed to start the
next 10 tests.
One positive is that the commentators at least are saying that
everything good is coming from Marcus.

Earl was good again, he carried effectively (most carries in the
match, most metres by any forward) and tackled his heart out
(joint most for England). Not as effective at the breakdown as
he'd like but he was one of the few positive performers for
England.

Sadly Dommers shouldn’t be anywhere near an England shirt. Rest
of the bench were just as bad.

Jeez, I hope you're right, but the way England are playing at
the moment I don't think I'd want to bet the farm on it
🙈
Also I think a certain E.Jones wood love to get over over on his
protégé and I imagine knows how England will play and might have
a plan or 2 up his sleeve to do just that 🫣

PS my (South African) wife asked if South Africa are the only
top team to be primarily composed of actual people from that
country....
