The worst thing is we probably will just about beat Japan, so
that’s all the RFU will need, and then we will have an abysmal 6
nations. Blink, and it’s the next WC and will be utterly shit
with no core team developed

Nah, he'll probably just recall Farrell, Ben Youngs, Mark Cueto,
Billy Beaumont...

The subs again didn’t help matters at all. Doing the same thing
is the definition of madness. The players don’t seem to learn.

Slade is just dross. How has he got a central contract. Genge
offers very little. Poor scrummager but now offering little in
the loose.
That last 15 or so was so maddening. 4 or 5 penalties. All
kicked into 22. Then maul stopped dead. One off runners getting
smashed back until we concede a turnover.
Is that coaching or just players incapable of thinking of
something less predictable?

I think that game has shown Borthwick and his coaching team
aren’t up for the job

He’s got I think now the worst win % for the top job. RFU bias
will protect him, but they sacked Lancaster and Johnson for less

Thought Genge was pretty good ball in hand, honestly.
Slade continues to absolutely kill us. Steward is a carthorse.
JvP slower than Dan Cole.
Marcus wasn't perfect but he's still been outstanding for
England. If he cut out the annoying errors he'd be in the
conversation for best 10 in the world. As it is he's merely
carrying England's attacking hopes on his shoulders.
Sleightholme should be a fixture from now on. Underhill gave us
plenty more than Curry, and it freed up Earl. CCS was a big
disappointment
The worst thing is that SA barely had to bother with this game
and some players were well off the pace. Libbok continues to
play against England like he's an online competition winner, and
they still beat us by 9 at Twickenham.

In his post match interview he said he didn't see much of a
pattern to the missed opportunities in the last 20. Unbelievable
He also said it's a team in transition / development and loads
of leaders have gone. Cole, george, itoje, underhill, ford,
Slade all have a bucket full of caps. Earl, smith, LCD, Stuart,
steward, JVP, Lawrence, dommers must all have 20-30+. Very few
real novices

This 👍
I can't believe that a bunch of players who in the main are
pretty damn good for their clubs are so bad together for England
🙈

George's interview equally infuriating. Says we're learning
lessons. But they clearly aren't
