Squad's up with Jibs, Beard, Cadan and Porter included 👏
       Forwards
       Joe Batley (Bristol Bears)
       Afolabi Fasogbon (Gloucester Rugby)
       Greg Fisilau (Exeter Chiefs)
Joe Heyes (Leicester Tigers, 7 caps)
Ted Hill (Bath Rugby, 2 caps)
       Emmanuel Iyogun (Northampton Saints)
       Nathan Jibulu (Harlequins)
Curtis Langdon (Northampton Saints, 2 caps)
       Gabriel Oghre (Bristol Bears)
Tom Pearson (Northampton Saints, 1 cap)
       Henry Pollock (Northampton Saints)
       Vilikesa Sela (Bath Rugby)
       Tom Willis (Saracens, 1 cap)
       Backs
       Charlie Atkinson (Gloucester Rugby)
       Oscar Beard (Harlequins)
       Joe Carpenter (Sale Sharks)
Fraser Dingwall (Northampton Saints, 2 caps)
       Gabriel Ibitoye (Bristol Bears)
       Archie McParland (Northampton Saints)
       Cadan Murley (Harlequins)
       Max Ojomoh (Bath Rugby)
       Will Porter (Harlequins)
Tom Roebuck (Sale Sharks, 1 cap)
       Jamie Shillcock (Leicester Tigers)
Only other 9 is a 19-year old so I'd guess Porter to start
Edit: Just seen that they will drop players down from the main
squad. JvP to start, Will off the bench?

Was hoping to see Anyanwu in there to at least partially dispel
rumours of his move to France... Not looking great, is it?

The fact a player who’s not even played much rugby gets in ahead
of him, it’s probably crystal clear he’s sadly off.
I’d rather Lennox than Jibulu leave if it was a straight pick, I
think Nathan has a much higher ceiling. We probably will lose
Evans, Lennox and Nathan and be reminded we just need to balance
       the books

Lennox is probably carrying a small knock. He didn't turn out Vs
Chiefs. At the time I thought that maybe that was due to him not
       being at 100%

very surprised/ disappointed not to see either Evans or
Kenningham in there. Can maybe understand WEV, if he is off to
France, but would have thought at least one of them would be
given a chance given their impressive starts to the season.

I don't think that the possibility of someone going to another
country next season would be any reason to ignore them for a "A"
game that is happening before they depart.
In fact, I would have thought that it would even be a good
       reason to select them.
I.e. show them what they could be involved in if they stay or if
       they return.

Posted the same on on Twatter, ridiculous that they are not
involved. Unless wEV has told Borthwick that he's off, it makes
no sense to not pick him. Kenners has been an animal since he's
been back so should be in there as he fits the age profile.
Lennox has had a brilliant start to the season and deserves to
be in contention unless, as with wEV, he's told the 'up the
       jumper' merchant that he's off

Head coach Mark Mapletoft has confirmed the England Men A side
to take on Australia A this Sunday at the Twickenham Stoop
       (14:00 kick-off).
Cadan Murley, Oscar Beard and Will Porter have all earned a
place in the starting XV to take on the Wallabies at their home
       ground.
Northampton Saints’ Fraser Dingwall captains the team from
inside centre and is partnered by Beard in midfield. Dingwall is
one of four previously capped senior men’s players in the
starting XV and five in total in the matchday 23.
2024 World Rugby U20 Championship winners Asher Opoku-Fordjour
and Henry Pollock are awarded their first Men A starts, with the
Sale Sharks prop recently joining the squad after training with
       Steve Borthwick’s senior men.
Beard and Cadan Murley are two of nine players in the matchday
squad that took to the field in February when England A returned
       to face Portugal, winning 91-5.
Following the announcement of his new Harlequins contract
earlier today, Porter has been named at scrum-half to start the
       contest.
Mark Mapletoft said: “I’d like to thank Conor [O’Shea], Steve
[Borthwick] and all the support staff for their incredible
effort in the buildup to what promises to be a fantastic
occasion at The Stoop. Collaboration across the pathway, senior
men’s and women’s teams has been vital in our processes so far.
“We want the players to seize the opportunity this Sunday, their
cohesion and unity in such a short period has been pleasing.
“We have a mix of younger talent, Premiership-quality players
and those capped at Test level too – it's a unique blend that
ultimately creates a driven environment, and we’re confident
that will show this Sunday.” Tickets start from only £25 for
adults & £15 for kids (U16)* for England Men A's meeting against
Australia A. Click here to secure your place at the Twickenham
       Stoop. (*booking fees apply)
