Technically he hasn’t, but I think is probably on gardening
leave or similar and not actually taking sessions

Last I heard, he wasn’t running sessions but was doing analysis

Australia played what was in front of them. England played what
was on the whiteboard in the changing room.
The best flyhalf talent in the world, coached by the worlds best
box kicker. It's like Tyson Fury being trained by Liberace!!!

I wonder what the RFU will do when we lose again to SA? Oh wait,
nothing but instead have “more learnings”. Defeat, after defeat,
after defeat against any decent world rugby. The RWC glossed
over things massively, but if we don’t get rid of him now the
next RWC is already doomed. It’s on this basis I hope we have an
abysmal 6 nations, as let’s face it things won’t suddenly click
and we look to play great rugby where France and Ireland are
looking over their shoulders at the best side in the NH

The light of day has made it no better. Getting home and hearing
George say some of the players thought they had the game sealed
after 20 mins is quite extraordinary.
Watching a team box kick the ball away endlessly and a broken
defensive system saved only by Marcus is just relentlessly
disappointing.
How have we created a side that is based entirely on one
individual occasionally being allowed to play rugby seemingly
against the general game plan.
Why is everyone static all the time in possession when they
receive the ball and why do we kick endlessly
The SA game could be brutal.

Would rather all Quins boys are taken out of this England team
and we let the RFU ruin everyone else’s players. I haven’t had
any interest in international rugby for years now. Once there’s
a credible coaching set up in place, they can have them back.

Someone put his official match stats on the other place
10 tackles, 5 missed
4 turnovers conceded
92 doglegs created

Freeman has 14 caps for England, all starts. 2 tries.
His club team mate has the same scoring record and has not
started a game yet.

Quins players ratings in yesterday's game (out of 5 stars) IMHO:
CCS **** (4) .....2 tries, good carries, big hits but ran out of
steam in the last qtr
Alex *** (3) ..... solid, hardworking
Finn Baxter ***(3) ditto
Marcus ****** (6) Yes, 6 ! Inspirational in both attack &
defence. Led the team by example. Even Austin Healey was
effusive about him. Crazy that he was pushed back to FB to
accommodate Ford at FH. Insisted he was the boss when he took
the conversion. Sadly, if he were still here, he would be
understudying Farrell (who would always be picked even if he had
2 broken legs !).

The Lions will be a walkover. They are awful. They are no. 10
for a reason. We missed 40 tackles and conceded 30 linebreaks.
And they just scraped it. Divide both of those by 10 and see how
they get on against a proper defensive outfit vs the lions.
