Well exactly, because he's not winning. Put Rassie in charge of
Wales and he'd no longer be a 'tactical genius'. Not sure your
Edwards analogy works, but nice effort.
As I said, SA have some great players but it's their power that
sets them apart. Not really sure what you think is funny? Take
away their power upfront and all the skill in the world wouldn't
have won them the last 2 world cups. So, yes, they are champions
       purely because of their power.
You seem to be separating being a good player and being
powerful. Why can't power be an attribute that makes a good
player a better player? Because that's exactly what it does.

South Africa. Sponsored by Tesco. They've got the Power.

Using your logic, SA would have won the world cup if they had
England's backs, because it's all about forward power.
Rassie wouldn't make Wales into world beaters. But he'd make
them a better team. And no, not just by giving them power.
You seem to have a borderline fetish for power. Power doesn't
make a good player into an excellent player. It makes them a
powerful good player. Power is a useful attribute in a back row
player. But three powerful players won't necessarily be a great
back row. You need a mix and a balance of skills.

I think SA probably could have won the world cup with England's
backs. The forwards provided the platform for everything those
       backs did.
Rassie wouldn't be able to do a thing with Wales. I'm not sure
       Jesus Christ himself could.
I think you'll find it's international selectors that have a
fetish for power! I'm just capable of noticing it.
Disagree, if you're good AND you have power you're objectively a
better player. Josua Tuisova is a worse player if he can't sit
players on their @rses like he does.
Although I totally agree that three random, powerful backrowers
don't automatically make a good back row. But I didn't ever
suggest they did. You still have to be a very good player and as
you say, have a balance of skills... I just suggested that power
was the difference, which it is.

Once again, you stated that South Africa "...are champions
purely because of their power." If it just came down to power,
teams like Samoa and Tonga would be at the top of the tree.
They're not. Feel free to check.
As for SA winning with England's backs, that's even more
hilarious! Forwards winning clean ball, only for Farrell to kick
       it away...

Purely because of their power being the difference. You can have
two skilled sides up against each other, and the more powerful
of the two will generally win at international level. I know you
don't really think I'm saying you can just get 15 donkeys and
win, you're just deliberately misinterpreting my words. But no
bother, I've spelled it out for you now.
Well, when SA won the 2023 RWC semi-final by one point, there
was one try scored by RG Snyman, a (very powerful, I might add)
forward. Aside from that it was 4 goal kicks apiece. Looks like
the backs were a fairly even match up to me.

I'm pretty sure a lot more happened in the game than a try and
som penalty kicks. But you focus on the power. It seems to mean
       a lot to you.

It means a lot to selectors of international teams, for good
reason, as much as you try to pretend it isn't a factor in
       achieving results 👍

Power is a factor. Never denied it.
"Power is the only reason they won" - your view, I don't agree.
