Did I miss this announcement ?
Alcohol Free Zones
Please note, for Autumn Nations Series 2024 we are trialling
Alcohol Free Zones within the stadium bowl.
The alcohol free blocks are as follows –
Upper tier U14 & U15 (whole blocks)
Lower tier, L15, rows 4-13, seats 138 - 146
L16, rows 4-13, seats 147-153
You will not be permitted to take or consume alcohol in these
seats.
I'll bet plenty of people have bought tickets without knowing
this!

Buy a Guiness zero, drink/or otherwise empty vessel, buy Guiness
then decant into Guiness zero glass.
How is that to be policed?

Did it earlier this year and possibly last AIs, i recall being
told there is a message given notice when purchasing the tickets
in the seats that it is a no alcohol area.

Why, though? Why not just buy a ticket in the drinking sections?

BB
My point was about the policing of it, and whether it is
possible, rather than an suggestion. The tickets won't be
cheaper and if cricket is any guide they won't be the premium
view.

Why alcohol free zone? Is this a London thing promoted by your
Mayor?

Is “yokel dick” your preferred online persona or are you just a
yokel dick?

Fans: It’s really annoying when people just go to rugby matches
for the beer. Constantly getting up to get more beer or relieve
themselves of the last pint means they block others’ views. Plus
the behaviour/ language of some is appalling.
Also rugby fans: An alcohol-free zone? But why?
