It absolutely is part of defence. If you can't pressure their
ruck speed then attacking becomes so much easier, ditto when
players are tackled off their feet and taken out of the
defensive line as a result.
Quick ball is hard to defend.
Edit: to be clear, there are other problems, and I don't think
this is even 50% of the problem. But it is the bit we can't do
much about and it's extremely annoying

Actually it is - they keep flying into the side of rucks and
taking our guard out - then on the next phase the ball back
inside isn’t covered

Sorry. To be specific, I was referring to us dropping off
tackles and just missing people in open play. But yes, agree
that their breakdown work is very annoying.

The worst thing for me is that Exeter will have a period when
they will actually play well and I can't see us holding out. We
need to be ruthless in this half. We should be 20+ ahead.

Isgro is not quick enough to give a winger that much space,
that's for sure. Well defended by Green though.
