Today’s results emphasise that tomorrow is the biggest game of
the season for us so far. Need to bring the defensive intensity
but also more cut in attack. Front row a worry and no Marcus but
threats with the back three if we can get some space. Hope all
travelling enjoy and make some noise!

Have to agree, not saying he's not committed but probably
juggling too many balls and certainly back up to Porter on a
much bigger wedge. Club legend and will have a great career in
the media but would prefer he focused on the day job

Yes - I have seen Lucas Friday twice at Scottish's home games. I
think he has now played 4 games for them and already scored 2
tries. Although he was only 18 in July, the London Scottish
staff reckon he is the new Danny Care (& I would say a possible
Antoine Dupont [emoji1]). He is very quick, crisp & incisive
with his distribution and a very deft and accurate left-footed
kicker. He, at the moment, keeps out of the way of rampaging
forwards; he is built like a 12 year old at present, but
physical strength & bulk will come with time. I would go on &
say he could be partnering Marcus
at Quins very soon (& with him for England in 3 years time !).

I’m sticking with last week’s home loss being when we lost the
season, but anything less than 4 today and it really will be -
coz even that leaves us 6 points adrift.
Our lack of game management has killed us so far, plus our
attack isn’t what it has been.
The upside is the defence, all around the pitch, which could be
the basis of a prem winning team - but not this year unless all
the current top 4 have a total collapse.

I had us finishing 7-8th in the vote and I think this is still
very much a reality after what we have seen overall this season.
Our lack of game management mentioned, and poor scrum is no
where near the parity of the teams above us. Realistically we
would be unlikely to win against Bristol, Tigers, Bath, Sarries
away, and will struggle at home against the remaining 2 in that
list. Combined with a plucky Gloucester, it wouldn’t be a bad
guess that we will be bottom 4 as opposed to top 4. The truly
great sides have that consistency which we never have had, and
history suggests a slump in the following seasons since winning
the title.

I was at the last Lon Scots match when they were comprehensively
outplayed by Nottingham -It was on a Friday and Friday didn't
have too good a game so on that performance (maybe a one-off) I
wouldn't be rushing him into the main squad 😐

We have the best defence in the premiership, in terms of
conceding tries, but one of the worst attacks for scoring them.
And that means fewer try bonus points and you don't win the
league by scoring lots of losing bonus points.
