Friday night games are a real pain for those not on a direct
local connection. If I drive, it costs me £30 (car paring &
ULEZ) & I'll probably get home sometime between 11:30pm and
midnight. If I try to do it by train, it costs about the same
and I'll be getting home around 1:45am (assuming there's no
problems with trains...) As such, I'll have to decide whether
I'm going to do the Ealing game, seeing how it's only a Prem Cup
       game.

I’m sure the club love the Friday night booze ups, as that’s
       what they are
And more and more it’s less about the long term fans and more
about the party crowd, and the rugby isn’t the key reason for
       going

Sadly it`s looking more and more that this is the case.

Really? I'd have thought it was the other way round. For Friday
evening games, spectators tend to arrive closer to the game and
by the end of the match it's usually close to 10pm, so only an
hour or so before they have to turf everyone out.
For weekend afternoon games, more people tend to arrive earlier,
and there's scope for them to stay longer. I also suspect they
sell more merch as families are spending more time in the
       ground.
The club has also said on multiple occasions that they'd hold
every home game at 3pm on Saturday if they could, but the
schedule is determined by tv. It would seem that Quins are
deemed good Friday night viewing - I suspect the tv people think
that casual viewers might turn on a Quins game because they know
it will be exciting, and if they watch a good game on Friday
night they are more likely to come back for another one over the
       weekend.
And if this board is anything to go by, the long term fans who
complain loudest about the club abandoning them are also the
ones who also complain about price rises and proudly explain how
they bring food with them and drink somewhere other than the
Stoop. For a club that is still loss making, it makes economic
sense to prioritise people who are going to contribute more to
       the club's revenues.

       Poorfoor
You only have to see the drinks queue on a Friday and the
constant up and down to see people are drinking far more on a
Friday night, and as far as I know the club makes money from the
food pitch, not the volume sold
Even wanted to charge Quinssa to hold AGM at ground , I get
about the money. And the booze up crowd spend plenty,

But the club dont pick the fixtures so I’m not sure how this
       would work.

Charging QUINSSA for holding their AGM at the Stoop ?????? If
that is true, it is appalling ! QUINSSA have always held their
AGM's there, so it is petty if that is true.
