So much for family friendly days at the Stoop....

Previous seasons I've always thought people were complaining too
much about the odd game not being during the day - but this
season i've finally broken...barring the Big Game being an Xmas
thing so bedtime for kids isn't an issue....not exactly a family
       friendly place this year.
       Falcons - Sat 3pm
       Sarries - Sun 3pm
Bath - Sat 530pm (fine for the 10 year old, didn't bring the 6
       year old)
And right here is where the kids seats become pointless (barring
       the Big Game as above).
       Ealing - Fri 745pm
       Bristol - Fri 745pm
       Stormers - Sat 8pm
Tigers (Big Stoop) - 6pm (latest ever KO)
       Warriors - Sat 8pm
       Saints - Fri 745pm

Most of this is dictated by TV scheduling. We have simply drawn
the "short stick" too often this season.

Our kids have aged out of this, but the club always used to
allow you to bring adults to evening games on the child tickets.
I had a list of friends who would gladly take advantage of this.
Worth checking whether it's still an option?

Not any more. I don't have a ST anymore but last time I did you
had to pay the extra up to the cost of an adult ticket. It
wasn't cheap. Another reason to give up the STs....

Yeah that's all fine, it's just the kids love going. We seem to
have got the really crappy end of the stick this season. And i
know lots of people who live further away than we do (eg a short
walk) find evening games a pain.

It’s annoying certainly for those of us dependent on trains,
meaning a 7.45 kick off is always tight. But the club won’t
care, we could play on a Sunday at 9pm but if it was against a
major rival it would still probably be a “sell out” anyway.

I don’t mind the late Saturdays or Sunday kick offs but Friday
nights are so hard to get to. Too many of them and I have to
       question my ST renewal.

I echo you, J Scott (and the other posters on this topic). As I
said earlier, we seem to have drawn a short stick on 7.45-ish
       kick-offs this year.
I live 6 miles down the A316, so I am lucky in that regards, but
for others who have far to travel, or have to work, I have great
       sympathy.

I'm not sure the club don't care, MQ, I'm sure they do care
about the lack of young support as that is the future and if you
can't go regularly you may lose interest if you have an uncle
who takes you to football or something else.
It's out of the club's control and something all clubs need to
look at and deal with at the PRL level and balance it up a bit
but we can't keep pushing them away.
