We chose Ms Poorfour Maj’s senior school because the DoR was
keen to develop women’s rugby, but he got poached by a pro team
the summer before she arrived. She then spent her time at the
school educating the new DoR about girls’ rugby.
She’s also a huge Quins fan and has been coming to games since
she was a month old and a season ticket holder since she was one
and a half. One of her earliest full sentences expressed a wish
to “be lady with rugby ball. At Harlequins.” She’s working on
it.

I remember shortly after the East Stand was built, while
watching a game with my daughter she saw one of the gaggle of
girls promenading up and down.
"Hmmph!", she snorted, "I remember when I was the only girl
here!".
Not true, but certainly there weren't many/any outside the
members' stand!
