A good piece, well worth reading. The booing of an ex player
would have been much more muted had said player not inserted
       foot into mouth in print!

The booing of Tizard is justified. Whilst you might say it’s not
“rugby” like crowd behaviour, which is true, completely
disrespecting a team which gave you your big break also isn’t
       “rugby like”.
I’d wager most of our academy players who’ve left and gone
elsewhere would (like most people) be thankful for the
opportunity and be gracious for the time spent with coaches,
their peers and then getting game time allowed them to kick on
       and better themselves somehow.
I can’t imagine Lynagh coming out and saying he loves scoring
against us. Heck, even in football if a player scores a goal
against their former team of some time it’s fairly customary not
       to celebrate

Huge surprise! A Sarries fan who's both respectful and balanced
       :)

To be fair, that's the majority of them. There's just an
annoying and vocal minority who keep stirring it. Now that their
squad is more in line with the rest of the league's I'm much
happier to move on, because as Sunday showed they can no longer
steamroller teams with a bench that would be automatic starters
       in any other team.

Not sure about the whole "Halfpenny in the best club form of his
       life" bizzo though, extremely strange!

I have been pleasantly surprised by Halfpenny. Yes, he doesn't
run 80 yards down the pitch like he used to, but he's solid as
the rock of Gibraltar under a high ball.

I have no doubt at all that our defence is greatly improved by
       having HP at 15.

I was speaking to some of the Halfpenny family after the game
and they think he is playing as well as ever
