Today’s game really felt like a big one for a few key personnel.
Porter has deserved the 9 shirt for a while, but Care not coming
on to close out the game says a lot about how good he is.
Likewise for Baxter - outstanding again and made fewer mistakes
in 70 than Marler did in 10.
And Anyanwu gets better every week. Huge task stepping into
Andre’s shoes but he’s matching the physicality there.
So many good performances, but these 3 feel so important with
who they’re replacing.

Not seen the replay but watching from the stands it looked like
Chis taking one for the team with that yellow rather than being
daft?

First Quins game for a long time won by our defence. Very
impressive today
Halfpenny is slow, but rock solid, looks a good signing. Baxter
is immense
Tizard got a lot of stick from where I was sitting. Fully
deserved

Agree with Porter being excellent today. Remember thought the
6/2 split on the bench and J Evans already on, meant that Danny
was cover for any back injury.

Great to see Murley back. Beard is getting better and better
too, and has had a great season so far. He's very physical and
we have excellent options in the backs these days. Lenny is
really stepping up to the plate too.

Changing of the guard...stand up Baxter and Porter. Top games
today from both. However Keningham was also my Man of the match,
huge game both in defence and attack for him.
Big shout for the Centers too, thought Lennox really stood up
and Beard did well against Lozowiski.
Great results and something to build of for the remainder of the
season...COME ON YOU QUINS🥳😜🍻

Superb all round effort today. Can’t remember our defence
looking as consistently organised as that in a long time.
Kenningham definitely MOTM for me. Outstanding in attack and
defence. Didn’t get over emotional and silly, overall discipline
was superb.

First, can I say thanks to all our supporters who made a noise
at The Stoop, it was really rocking! A huge wave of support for
the team all the way through the game.
Secondly, thanks to all the team for the defence they put up
today it was awesome. We clearly believed in it from how much we
kicked the ball away. Any other game, I'd have been tearing my
hair out, but it was a tactic that worked well.
Thirdly, huge thanks to the seven man scrum after Chis's yellow
card. I was convinced we were going to suffer against Saracens'
eight, but the scrum held firm and we managed a scoreless 10
minutes. Actually, I was convinced our scrum would suffer from
their scrum, full stop, but it didn't happen!
In fourth place, all the Saracens fans I talked to. What a nice
bunch of rugby people! It helps make the day when you're
reminded how great supporting rugby is, whichever side you're
on.
Finally, it was nice of Jamie George, Nick Isiekwe (I think) and
Ben Earl to acknowledge the Harlequins fans as they went to
congratulate/commiserate with a bunch of Saracens fans in the
South Stand.
A great day, but the overriding memory is that noise we produced
all the way through to drive the team on! I'm sure it was part
of the reason we won.

Very happy with that, I confirm that I, like others, rather
expected another defeat. Very un-Quins-like style!
Great defensive effort. Last time I remember something similar
was up at Sale a couple of years ago. Hope we follow on this
time, as we didn't really then.
Breakdown reffing was very strict but consistent I thought.
Interestingly Ridley was the ref in the Sale game too.
