It isn't segregation.
It is away sections so that groups of away support can sit
together, supporter groups already try and arrange this or
suggest areas that supporters may want to buy.

It isn't segregation.
It is away sections so that groups of away support can sit
together, supporter groups already try and arrange this or
suggest areas that supporters may want to buy.
How many seats should a club set aside as an away section, at
what point do they release unsold seats for general sale?
No good setting aside seats if a few hundred don't get sold to
away support.

FWIW my opinion is that perhaps more could be made of the
supporters clubs. They generally arrange where likeminded away
fans can sit together without the need for a specific away area.

Never had a problem sitting or standing with away fans at away
fans other than the rather obnoxious Plastics chanting at
Reading

It's nice that you can. But equally, when there's only a few
hundred of you spread around the stadium it's difficult to get
any co-ordinated supporting noise going. And it's easily drowned
out by the home crowd.
