Launchbury has to play imo. Not the most mobile, but his ruck
efficiency was one of the best in the league last season, and he
improves the lineout massively which will be another big battle.
       Great maul defence too.

For me, we need to come out aggressively. CCS, Chis and Irne on
the pitch is a pretty gnarly prospect.

I think "never" is pretty harsh. Last season? Yeah, for sure.
The season before that, we lost at home by 3 points after really
going after them in the first half and turned around 24-12 up.
Gutted we lost but it was an incredible contest, particularly
given we weren't allow to select Marcus and had Allen and
Gjaltema starting at 9 & 10 (and no Andre, either).
The return fixture we lost by 12, again we scored very early on
and it wasn't until Northmore was binned halfway through the
second half that they really pulled away. Final score of 36-24.
Again, good contest, albeit one Sarries were in control of.
Season before, the home game was practically a carbon copy of
the following home game - we lost 22-29 after going 3 tries up
and being 19-9 in front at half time. This was the one where
Allan was cheap-shotted out of the game, meaning we had Edwards
playing 10 for most of it, if you remember. We ended that game
coming very close to getting the tying score. A great contest,
       even though we lost.
The away game we lost 19-10 - tight game, both sides depleted by
callups, 10-10 at half time... very competitive match.
The semi final they did a number on us in the second half - it
was a 3 point game at half time.
I hope the players don't belive the same things fans on here do
       - the losing record is rubbish but several of those matches have
been extremely close-run things. Funnily enough I don't expect
this weekend's to be close as we're clearly struggling to find
the right lineup and Sarries are on a hot run, but I think the
idea that we're beaten before we get on the pitch is a long way
       short of the reality.

Tbh I’m a bit over with the whole salary cap stuff, it’s a bit
old now and hardly a direct reason for their more recent years
of success. The reality is, Sarries have built an excellent
team, and have a strong brand of rugby that works, and have
achieved far greater league standings than us in say the last 5
years. Even losing some big names they’ve had a seemless
       transition it seems.
       I’m not sure why we choke even more than usual against Sarries;
but possibly it’s a psychological factor the players know they
simply are up against a better side. I expect Sunday to go as
the last few years, periods of good play, but ultimately a raft
of mistakes/penalties and switching off at the wrong times.
Let’s just hope it’s not AS bad as the away game last year. I
personally think Bath is the more winnable one and that’s saying
       something

There's no shame in loosing to a better team but you should
still give a good account of yourself. Look at Toulouse last
season, we didn't expect to win but we swung the bat and went
for it and died with our boots on. I want to see that mentality
every time we play good sides. Some will fall our way and some
won't but there is definitely a mind problem against them

Just keep blaming it on cheating. The losses are easier to
       reconcile that way.

Almost every Quins fan on here is specifically not blaming the
cheating (though glad to see you accept it happened and had a
negative impact). If you’re going to lurk on this Board, at
least attempt to understand the posts.

On the contrary, the longer you think cheating was the reason
Saracens were successful, the longer it will take you to realise
why they are still successful now.

       My advice to everyone.
Add the troll to your Ignore list.
  HTML https://comeallwithin.createaforum.com/index.php?action=profile;area=lists;sa=ignore;u=3
And then the troll's ramblings won't be seen and they won't get
       any reactions.
Troll will then go somewhere to attention seek.
