Interesting observation - can you please name those five better
       teams for us ?

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their
level and then beat you with experience.

Well Sarries are definitely better than us. That was close to
faultless this afternoon. We will need to do something
       extraordinary to get near them.

Sarries, Saints, Bristol, Bath, Sale and maybe Tigers.

Sarries good, Exeter awful. Their starting half backs were
       utterly ponderous.

Fair to say that a one point loss away at Sale and a 4 point
loss in a 62 point match away at Saints suggest that if there is
a gap between us and those teams, it's not huge.

We’ve also not yet been able to put anything like our preferred
       backline on the pitch.
I’m positive about what the team has shown so far. Get a few of
the walking wounded back and things could click.

I'm not convinced that Bristol are better than us....
Saints at home with our first choice XV I'd fancy our chances,
same with Sale or Bath, or Tigers. Sarries do look like the real
       deal sadly....
I think that the top teams are all good enough and yet bad
enough to beat each other depending on weather, injury, and
       silly reffing or playing decisions.
Bath looked terrible against Briz this weekend, but great
against Saints. Exeter looked pretty good against Saints and
       terrible against Sarries 🤷‍♂️

Exeter's lineup was really shocking - very few players at the
top of their game and a lot of average club players or future
potential. No one who could grab the game by the scruff of the
neck, no leadership, and no real cohesion.
The biggest surprise was that Saracens didn't give them a proper
hiding, they really let Exeter back into it in the second half.
