Saw the first half. First score by Newcastle was very good. No
complaints. Then it seemed like we started to click, and our
confidence just grew and grew.
Jibulu was very good. Anyanwu is settling into the 12 role
nicely. Cleaves recovered well after being bounced in a tackle,
but came back in style. What a runner! He's going to cause a lot
of problems for defences this season.

A slow start and I thought we let the game drift at times.
On the plus side, some strong performances from Jibulu, Beard,
Cleaves and Wev.
I know we're only two games in but the scrum is starting to
become a worry. Titi seems to be getting on the wrong side of
refs from the outset and Kerrod looked rusty.

Watching it live it looked like Titi was fine in the scrum - we
won more scrum pens than we lost with him on the pitch.

Jibulu is a beast,
Play that way against Bath, tigers etc not so sure we will get
the same result,
I also accidentally ended up in hospitality but was a bit like
obi wan saying you don’t need to see my credentials

Titi a bit like Wilco when he joined, kept getting pinged and
collapsing but he'd sorted it by Big Game. Have to presume the
same here.
wEV, I think I'm out of superlatives for him by now. Feels like
you can only mention him if he's poor, which ha hasn't been
since the semi at sarries in 2022.
Jibs, CC, Lenox and Beard all good. Northmore injury again,
let's hope it's not another long one. Accepting the points about
Joseph above, still feel more comfortable with him there.

Had a catch up with Cassius and I asked him if his injury was
serious. He told me he was fine, and it wasn’t as bad as it
looked, but he knew I’d do him over 100m.

The second half seemed to go to pot when we had to shift the
back line around after Cassius’s injury. He stays on and I think
we keep our shape better and maybe win by a bit more. Not a game
that will live long in the memory.
Hope the injuries aren’t too bad.

Managed to watch the game from hospitality. Did some obi wan
mind tricks to security and I sat in a box for the game. Was
hilarious really

Not sure I saw a massive defensive improvement today -Falcons
found a few gaps......
Shame about the injuries -Northmore and Cleaves didn't look like
they will be playing next week🤔
Respect to Falcons but they are likely the weakest team we will
play this season so big improvement required next week.
