Weather looks good for the game, but I suspect the pitch may be
heavy going. Here's to a 5-pointer though.
PS :- what a great game last night between Bris & Glaws !!!!!

Looking forward to it today. Just at Chatham waiting for the
choo choo.
I’ve got 4 Southern Comfort miniatures for half time if anyone
wants to share whilst I give my key analysis

What’s the story with Will Joseph?
He’s not listed as unavailable so is he simply not being
selected?
Fitting Northmore, Beard and Joseph in the same 23 could be the
issue but I’m surprised he’s the one to miss out.
Northmore is a very good 13 but I think Joseph may be better now
with the potential to be a fair bit better with more game time.
The only justification I can see for having Beard over Joseph is
if we want a bigger option to bring on for one of our
lightweight wingers. Joseph is a better player than Beard
overall, but Beard might just about be a more natural winger.

Beard is still young but seems to be learning very quickly. He
has a good skillset and is quite a hefty unit, and pretty quick
for his size.

Beard is a much better winger then 13, but isn’t as prolific
scoring wise as our previous academy step ups, but is a good
bench option to cover both.
Joseph I think might be a better option at 13 than Northmore in
some games, however Lennox is going to need to improve his
distribution a bit more (hopefully today) as our outside runners
were pretty much spectators against Sale offensively

Beard played well last week and had that spectacular run, he
covers two positions so makes sense he wouldn't be dropped
entirely.

Average drink order time in Spoons is 7 minutes which is a great
performance and pleased to see they’ve raised their game knowing
I’m in town.
Sterling job on the fish and chips, and double bells 3.58 can’t
moan.
Being as I’m in a bouyant mood 3 doubles in within the hour,
I’ll go Quins win.
But, to balance the books, Danny care red, Lewies injured again
landing normally during a lineout, smith to have 50% kicking
rate, and us to lose every lineout

Couple of cracking try contributions from Cleaves. Serious
acceleration.
Beard has linked play nicely since coming on.

Well, a bit mixed. Thought our young guys were excellent:
Jibulu, Cleeves until he got injured, Anyanwu and especially
Beard who was my PoM. Smith and CCS looked pretty rusty at the
start but improved. Halfpeny has plenty of rugby intelligence
but he is slow! Our scrum is OK but not as dominant as
previously. Lineout went well.
Given the back line injuries I can excuse losing a but of shape
in the second half.
