London Scottish v Coventry Fri 20th Sept 7.45pm ko

I am going to the above game tonight... it will be great to see
some live competitive Rugby at last !
Coventry will be a tough opener, but it will be good to be back
there, to see Joe Gray in his 3rd season as Coach.
L.S. are NOT a bottom half of the table side. I watched them
continuously at home last season (when there was nothing on at
the Stoop.
There are Quins featuring : Tom Osborne at 1, Archie White at 8,
Hayden Hyde at 14, & on the bench Jack Musk and Ben Waghorn.
Costs : Terraces £20, Seating in the Saltire Stand £25.
Looking forward to it.

Interesting to see Hyde at 14, usually a centre?
Must mean that Lennox/Bradley are or around the match squad for
Sale.

OK BB..... Scottish lost to Coventry 19-45. An expected result.
Scottish's line out didn't function well at all & there were too
penalties conceded. But, there were some good aspects in LS's
play.... plenty of attacking intent. Coventry, imho, are the
Championships equivalent of Saracens (kick, kick, grind & wait
for penalties to be conceded).
Still glad I went... I will be going again on Fri 4th October
(7.45pm KO) v Cornish Pirates.

Kick, kick, grind & wait for penalties ...? Well, they scored
one penalty but still managed 6 tries with a weakened team that
the few posters on their board thought may well lose.
I'm afraid Friday nights aren't very good for travelling to
watch Quins, let alone anyone else, but I'll be in France anyway
to see if their rain is warmer.
