So...no, they don't get points for trying (kinda like us). It's
a 10 team league with some extremely obvious choices for #1 and
#10!

No Jammy! Now you’ve done it. He will be offering to meet you
in the pub to explain how he’s been right all along.

Playing devils advocate, I didn’t say their final positions,
merely top 4. Never assume 😉

I would just like to remind everyone about my prediction . . .

Whatever the exact permutations of the top 4 we still had a
shockingly awful season and I sincerely hope that there will be
a review with strong actions within the club. We're allegedly
one of the top spenders within the league which if true means
we're getting very poor value for money. We have a lot of
players who whilst being can favourites are not top operators.
We have a poor front 5 and 1 academy lad who's good at 12.... We
desperately need better options and back up at prop and 2nd row
and really could do with an established ball carrying 12. We've
had some movement at 2nd row with Petti and Treadwell but
nothing at prop or 12.... worrying for next season.

Pretty much this. A lot of things some of us said before this
season and not long after its start (lack of a 12, front row
etc) ultimately were the difference and led to us being where we
were. Waghorn is still young and a great prospect but its
obvious they are still managing his minutes, so if that's the
case then I seriously hope they have some reinforcements at 12,
as I'm not sure how many times they need to see Luke isn't a
genuine option. I hope we aren't going in with Baxter, Els and
Kerrod as our frontline at LH and can expect some movement there
also. Second row, backrow and the backs bar 12 are pretty much
sorted for next season with some decent first team options. The
fact we are spending up to the cap suggests we aren't getting
value compared to say Bath or Bristol, but then again maybe
London costs push it up for cost of living. Not sure if the club
still provide accommodation for players though?

Last year I thought we had one of the best squads we had in the
last few years.
When I set up this thread I was convinced we were going to have
a good season. Lets remember who we beat last year to get into
the European Semi finals for the first time ever. Look where
Bordeaux are now!
It seems like a long time ago, but its not so we can come back
stronger next year.
