Predicts an 8th Place finish for us
Of course its by Rugby Pass and is likely to be wrong wrong
wrong.
Also Newcastle with Steve Diamond will surely get more points.
I think we'll be higher that this.
What do you al think?

I saw a video 'meme' (if that's the word) in which Brian
O'Driscoll predicted Quins to be Prem winners. Probably equally
unlikely - but I know which I prefer and BOD knows a thing or
two abour rugby.

The corresponding piece in the Telegraph has the pundits
predicting between 6th and 8th, but most of them reckon between
4th & 8th it's anyone's game anyway...

It’s tough one.
Top 4 for last season i guessed 3 out of 4, so I’ll go:
Bath
Saints
Sale
Tigers
I got a feeling Tigers will be much improved, and Sarries will
probably need a slight rebuild losing key players.
The rest? It’s too hard to call. I think Sarries 5th, with
Exeter, us and Bristol are all capable of probably getting 6th,
but could easily end up 8th.

I think it's one of the most open Prem seasons we are likely to
see. Just about every team has lost some key players and will
have to see if their new recruits can step up.
I'm hopeful for Quins' chances because
a) We've only lost two key players, and most commentators seem
to regard Titi as a good replacement for Will
b) The key bit of hiring is actually Jason G. We've seen before
that losing a coach whose name doesn't rhyme with Tall Custard
mid season seems to disrupt the players a lot. Our season fell
apart when Borthwick borrowed NEv, and it fell apart when
Flannery left. If we can hold on to all our coaches until the
final, I think we will stay competitive
c) Most commentators are making their judgements on how much
they recognise the signings. Anyanwu and Hyde are unknown
quantities, and I think people are underestimating them. Given
how the club introduced Baxter last season, I suspect they are
ready to step up.

I've tried to predict the league before and it's a fool's
errand. Too much is completely unpredictable. Last season, there
were 6 league points between the semi-final glory of 3rd and the
"well at least we scraped into Europe" of 7th.
6 league points is a team twice getting an injury mid-game or a
bounce of a ball or a ref's call that turns a win into a close
loss.

Can’t wait for it all to get started again, but fear the
Andre-shaped hole is going to kill off our chances of top 4
pretty fast.
Enya is a pretty good way of finding out fast if we’ve got any
kind of defence this season.
