I remember Raff Hollister sitting behind me and chucking a ball
around in the North Stand before the match and atvhalf time as a
young kid until I moved away nearly 9 years ago.

For those not wanting to wear out their mouse wheel scrolling on
the offy site here's a more readable version...
Harlequins have today confirmed the senior men’s squad for the
2024/25 season.
Competing in the Gallagher Premiership, Investec Champions Cup
and Premiership Rugby Cup, the senior squad consists of 39
Senior players and 35 Academy players. More than 60% of the
squad are products of the Harlequins Academy.
The senior squad has been strengthened by the arrival of four
new signings, Leigh Halfpenny, Rodrigo Isgro, Wyn Jones and Titi
Lamositele. The Academy has been bolstered by four new
first-year players, Jamie Miller, Jimmy Staples, Ollie Streeter
and Lucas Friday, alongside four England U20 World Championship
winners, Josh Bellamy, Lucas Friday, Sean Kerr and Ben Waghorn.
Director of Rugby Billy Millard commented: “Heading into the new
season we’re really pleased with our squad and the depth we have
available amongst our group. We have maintained the core of our
squad from last season and added some significant international
experience. Our Academy also continues to impress with an
exciting group of players developing strongly within our senior
programme.
“Having depth in our squad is crucial and we’ve been pleased
with the input of our whole squad this preseason, with the
matches against Montpellier and London Scottish showcasing the
exciting talent we have in our ranks and the improvement they
continue to make.”
The Club can also confirm a large proportion of the squad are
undertaking full-time education as part of their playing career,
with support and guidance from Harlequins. Players are
completing courses at various institutions, including University
of Surrey in Guildford, University of Exeter, University of Bath
and Cambridge University. The squad includes four university
scholars for the 2024/25 season, James Hodgson, Mattias
Woollard, Raff Hollister and Guy Rogers.

I asked AI what our best starting 15 is from the list, it has
come up with the below;
Joe Marler (Prop)
Jack Walker (Hooker)
Dillon Lewis (Prop)
Joe Launchbury (Second-Row)
Stephan Lewies (Second-Row)
Jack Kenningham (Back-Row)
Will Evans (Back-Row)
Alex Dombrandt (Captain, Back-Row)
Danny Care (Scrum-Half)
Marcus Smith (Fly-Half)
Cadan Murley (Wing)
Luke Northmore (Centre)
Will Joseph (Centre)
Nick David (Wing)
Tyrone Green (Fullback)
Any changes? Maybe a change at hooker and Anyanwu at 12 with
Northmore moving to 13?

I'd say that you could make a case for the following:
Fin Baxter (Prop) - I think Baxter is already the first choice
LH, especially with Marler injured
Sam Riley (Hooker) - the coaches prefer Walker, but I think most
of us prefer Riley. In a season or so it could well be Jibulu
Dillon Lewis (Prop) - by default at the moment, but interesting
to see who emerges as the successor to Collier
Joe Launchbury (Second-Row) - when fit
Stephan Lewies (Second-Row) - when fit
Chandler Cunningham-South (Back-Row) - Very harsh on Kenners
(and Chis, and Lawday) but when everyone is fit CCS starts and
Kenners is a superb bench option.
Will Evans (Back-Row)
Alex Dombrandt (Captain, Back-Row)
Danny Care (Scrum-Half) - for now. By the end of the season,
it's likely to be Porter
Marcus Smith (Fly-Half)
Cadan Murley (Wing)
Lennox Anyanwu (Centre) - the position with the most
uncertainty, but Anyanwu has looked like the most consistent
pick and player at 12 in pre-season
Luke Northmore (Centre) - right player, wrong position
Nick David (Wing)
Tyrone Green (Fullback)

I hope we stop the Kenningham at 6 experiment. When he played
there he was far less influential, and we have better more
suited to the enforcer role, IE CCS, JC or Lamb

Pretty sure there's a whole song about how he can't play rugby

In terms of 6, it depends on what the team needs to achieve. For
most games, CCS is the clear choice (but he’s short of 80 minute
fitness). If it’s more of an arm wrestle, Dino is an option (if
fit) and Chis (if fit) fits somewhere in between the two.
Kenningham’s value at 6 - at least before his long term injury -
was he combined a high work rate and excellent breakdown work
with being a surprisingly hard carrier and a genuine lineout
option. In a fast paced game, he’s a good option at 6. That
said, Quins tend to go better when there are more hard carriers
in the pack, which is why I think CCS is first choice.
And in the immediate term, we’re probably going to see
Kenningham wearing 20 and playing 6, because Evans and Dombrandt
tend to last 80 minutes but CCS doesn’t, and having Kenningham
on the bench means that between the 4 of them you have cover at
6 (CCS, Kenningham), 7 (Evans, Kenningham) and 8 (Dombrandt,
CCS). Lawday offers cover at 6, 7 and 8 too, but I think
Kenningham is in front at this point.

I would put Jibulu straight into the starting squad

Kenningham has also looked a LOT beefier to me on the preseason
live stream/highlight vids and also in preseason training photos
- can anyone verify if this is the case having seen him IRL?
Of course, that doesn't necessarily translate into harder
carrying or more of an "enforcer" game, but you'd think he'll be
able to improve contact elements of his game with a slightly
heavier frame. I just hope he doesn't lose too many yards of
pace or tune down his engine as a result.
