To be fair to George their defensive line out was awesome in the
2nd half. Daly is only in for long range goal kicks, would
rather see Brown reinstated.

But he is meant to be the 2nd best hooker in England and has
been in a training camp with those jumpers for three weeks.

The only thing that got my goat was the NZ lazy runners, seemed
to happen throughout the game

Been saying the same for a long time. One day NZ will be reffed
properly... And their habit of giving away penalties in the red
zone as well as their lazy runners will be properly punished.

I'm no expert but it looked to me like the ball was being thrown
to the intended man (Itoje) and the Kiwi kept stealing it as we
kept repeating the same damn lineout. Who was calling it at that
time? Poor calling I thought.

Why didnt we realise the long throw lineout wasnt working and do
a few short ones?

What really got me was for Underhill's try to be referred to the
TMO when the ref was in line with Lawes and saw all that
happened. Why couldn't he make a decision without involving the
TMO?

No idea about the calling but Retallick should get some credit.
Maybe they were double-bluffing. Did seem strange though to
repeatedly throw to Itoje.
I'm drunk now. 🙂

Are you saying the TMO was wrong?

I think it was possibly a 50/50 call. I don't think that there
was enough evidence to override the on field call . The tmo is
not supposed to butt in like this, so should get a good ticking
off.

I thought (and could be wrong).....Ref gives the try, unless the
TMO has clear and obvious reason the try cannot be disallowed.
That was not clear and obvious.
