Why not introduce a Rugby Club Members Card or, show your ST
Card to get a priority window for tickets?

I fully agree with the idea of holding the event somewhere more
rugby deprived. This does look like an "easy money" event. I
mean good for the club, yes. We may not make a huge amount of
money from it, but "The Stoop is where England A play" has a
ring to it. But its a bit of an opportunity lost. I mean the
Autumn Internationals now seem to be always at Twickenham, so
why not use these A games to promote rugby in places where they
don't see International rugby?

I think a good ground that’s not too big for the fixture but
also one capable of still making money at a reduced ticket price
(due to a higher capacity) would be Ashton Gate, mostly because
it’s obviously used to rugby, the right sort of size with some
good grassroots support beyond Bristol etc. it could be a
potential gamble going as far as Newcastle but perhaps it could
work. Coventry also a shout

I believe there are only two Prem grounds which are meaningfully
larger than the Stoop and you’ve hit on both of them.
That said, I’d hope (perhaps naively) that an England A game
could get more than 20k people.
I’m not suggesting Old Trafford but somewhere like Villa Park,
the Etihad or or St James are all around 40-50,000.

I think it’s possible to get those numbers but it probably would
need an ultra low ticket price (£20 I’d say) along with no
conflicting matches nearby that might draw new spectators away.
The Riverside in Middlesbrough would be the ideal size, but in
reality I’m not sure many footy teams would want a rugby fixture
ruining their turf mid season in November. I guess time will
tell

Whilst I understand the sentiment of moving the matches such as
"A" matches and U20 matches round the country, I still think
that The Stoop should be considered as an option. Not everyone
can afford to go and watch first team matches at the Big Stoop
(that is if you are lucky enough to be able to get a ticket to
one in the first place).
There are a lot of people who live round here who are
inconvenienced by having 82k supporters going to England matches
a half dozen times a year whose only hope of going to HQ is to
be lucky enough to win one of the 200 pairs of tickets in the
local resident's ballot (which are a. usually terrible tickets
on the upper tier and b. still very expensive).

Sorry but living in Twickenham shouldn't give you a right to go
to matches at the stadium. Most of us moved here after the
stadium was built and nobody is forcing us to stay in a TW
postcode.
Or should we also get preferential rates on flights because
we're also near Heathrow?
