As small note of caution - don't rush to book a sneaky cheapy
deal to Paris for Racing game in Dec - it wont be at their La
Defence Arena home - venue tbc - somewhere in France

Was going to book Racing trains this morning thanks for the
heads up!
Any quick way to get to Toulon from London seems the euro stars

Have a look at travelling via Lille rather than via Paris, and
if you can engineer a night in Lille then the Trois Brasseurs is
a nice place to spend a few hours.

Changing at Lille is a good option, but I'd stay the night in
Lyon and eat at Brasserie George! Toulon is then a ~2 and a
quarter hour train from there.

Should be able to get a direct train from Paris to Toulon.
Though there is still the cross Paris journey from Gare de Nord
to Montparnes.

These things are always subjective. Late Saturday games are my
favourite.
